Making LEGO creations that move, wiggle, work and go! This exciting camp is all about adding mechanical action to our LEGO builds! LEGO is an amazing and low-stress way to learn core mechanical engineering skills while getting creative building some weird, quirky and fun creations. Using LEGO, we explore core STEM physical science concepts like gearing, simple machines, kinetic & potential energy, opposing forces and mechanical energy. Each session features a creative and engaging project prompt that highlights a certain mechanical motion or principle that campers can then incorporate into their builds. LEGO is one of our absolute favorite building systems and the perfect way to explore core STEM concepts while having a great time! Do students take LEGO creations home with them? Unfortunately, students don't get to take LEGO creations home with them. Our LEGO are an integral part of our curriculum and we need them to use with other programs, so bring a camera to capture these one-of-a-kind builds!
