Description

Make some noise.  Make a mess.  Make some really cool stuff!

Woodworking is more than just making cool stuff out of wood -- it’s the combination of engaging the mind in creative problem solving while working with your hands using real tools.  We firmly believe that learning basic woodworking skills opens up a whole world of making, fixing, creating and crafting that will last a lifetime.

We start with the basics (which way do you turn a screwdriver to tighten a screw anyway?) and work our way up to using power tools.

The focus of this workshop is building the confidence and skills needed to use tools safely to cut and shape wood.

This is a fun, hands-on (read : messy!) camp that uses tools and paints, so please be sure your camper is dressed appropriately -- Closed-toed shoes and grubby clothes are a must for this camp experience!
