Description

Woodworking Basics

Let’s make some great stuff out of wood!

There is something special about learning woodworking!

Maybe it’s the combination of engaging the mind in creative problem solving while working with your hands.  Maybe it’s the pride that focus, proper measuring and good craftsmanship brings.  Maybe it’s the thrill of learning how to comfortably (and safely!) use tools to cut, drill and shape wood.

Whatever it is, we firmly believe that learning basic woodworking skills opens up a whole world of making, fixing, creating and crafting that will last a lifetime!

In this camp, students will learn how to safely use various hand tools and power tools to cut and shape wood.  We provide hearing protection and dust masks, but be aware that this can be a noisy and dusty camp!
